We watched it last night and Rick and I both cried. Sarah Jane was his favorite companion, as she was for a lot of people. He remembers watching her on episodes when he was little and she really made an impression on him. He was so excited when she was in School Reunion. I wasn't as familiar with her, but even for the short time that I knew her she made an impression on me as well. I think Lis Sladen had a gift for getting people to love her with just a few moments on screen.

Anyway, I managed to hold it together until the Elvis Costello song.

Also, I think you should write the story about Ianto's crush on Sarah Jane, because I think anyone who "knew" her felt the same way. A lot of people would love that story, IMO.
