Hello, internet!

It is New Year's Eve here in Somerville. It is New Year's Day in some places! Happy New Year, wherever you are.

People weren't being silly and ridiculous, they just wanted to talk about Real World Serious Issues. I am not in fandom to talk about Real World Serious Issues, guys.

Heh, yeah, I think we're in SGA fandom for different reasons. (Did you see penknife's latest fic? So. Perfect.) I love the snark and I'm working on writing humour, but for me it's all about the 'verse, the canon.

I was so glad you could visit! And I'm really, really happy for you that you got to move to Boston like you wanted. *hugs*

Yeah, for me it was the characters and the fun. When the characters became unrecognizable to me and people stopped having fun, I was out XD And no, I haven't read SGA fic in a loooooong time XD But I'll put it on my list for if I"m in the mood!

I can't even comprehend that I barely knew you at this time last year, sweets. You have brought SO MUCH FUN AND JOY into my life. Seriously. I don't know if I would have connected with fandom as hard as I did if it wasn't for you. I've had so much fun hanging out with you and writing with you and chatting with you and all of it. ♥
