BUT! If it's the same "Ianto is anemic" story I'm thinking of, he got his anemia because he couldn't bring himself to eat meat after the events of "Countrycide". And he's not eating protein cuz he's depressed about Jack.
I dunno if that's the story you found, but in case it wasn't, you should know that this one exists.
I don't even have a Torchwood icon because I'm not in the fandom, I swear! ::shifty eyes::pocky_slashJuly 21 2009, 16:27:17 UTC
Well, I don't think that's the exact same one, because he wasn't depressed about Jack in this one, but he WAS anemic because he stopped eating meat after Countrycide. But still, vegetarianism isn't an eating disorder either, so I was disappointed in the tagging of this particular story XD
Ahahaha, give me your e-mail and I'll send you the links to the "Ianto cuts himself" stories. I am hesitant to link to badfic in public in case one of the authors happens by.
I am having a lovely time! And at some point when I get back, we should do a cupcake trip (or a just hanging out trip, even!). I hope you enjoyed your vacation as well!
HI! I'm glad you're having fun in Florida! I'm quite jealous. Also, even though I don't know a lick about Torchwood, your tweets have been keeping me quite entertained. :) There always needs to be more eating disorder fic though. (It's possible that there's something wrong with me.)
I hope the rest of your vacation goes just as well! :)
Here is pretty much all you need to know about Torchwood to follow my tweets: 1. Torchwood, as an organization, is entirely inept, but pretty enough to get away with it, apparently.
That's really it XD
I can't wait to see you in only a little more than a month! :D
I love HBP! Though I have to disagree about Emma Watson, who's style of acting I cannot stand. It's all the breathy gaspiness whenever she has to say something important/emotional/longer then a short sentence. Does my head in.
Tom Felton was amazing though. Perfectly captured the whole desperately running from something he can't even admit terrifies him thing.
Ah XD Well, we'll just have to agree to disagree, because I think she's quite good. But I totally agree on Tom Felton! While we were waiting for the elevator to go down to our car (we have taken to calling it the Torchwood elevator because it never does anything right and doesn't make any sense), krabapple said she heard Tom Felton was excellent and actually made people care about Draco. I said he'd have to be pretty frigging good to make me care about Draco, who I don't even notice enough to hate in the books. But, by god, he did it! I actually had tears in my eyes at one point. I was shocked!
My Draco-love started with the HBP book. He's just a boy who worships his father and wants to protect him and make him proud, however much it destroys him.
If you think about it, a lot of HP comes down to young people going to great lengths to make parental-figures proud. Draco's devoted to his family, and Harry, lacking a father, tends to throw himself at surrogates. (I'm not a Sirius fan, so this might be biased) I mean, he's a bit stupid in his attitude towards Sirius, and also in his complete devotion to Dumbledore.
