Oh man, internet, I just finished The Strain by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan and it was frigging awesome! It's a vampire book, but it puts kind of an interesting spin on the mythology. Believe me, no one is more burnt out on vampire crap than I am, but this was fresh and cool and incredibly creepy. Like, "Man, I might actually have to sleep

Dude, I have looked at that blog post so many times and salivated I cannot even tell you.

Also! You know the Pigeon book! There was this one day when I was at work and the kids were all at lunch so I was reading some books from their library section. I came across the Pigeon book, read it, loved it, was about to text you about it, and then the kids came back from lunch. IT IS, HOWEVER, AWESOME.

Oh my god, I LOVE the Pigeon books! I am obsessed with the author/illustrator to a degree that is probably unhealthy. His books are ADORABLE. You should go to his website and poke around!
