Ah, degrees in English. Soon I'll have two degrees, each more useless then the last. Anything with the word 'Culture' in the title immediately gets you bumped to the back of the job queue.
Ok so we're leaving Boston around 6am tomorrow (I'm guessing it's going to be more like 7 but whatever) and getting to my uncle's around 4 hours after that. I'm not sure what the plan is for the day but since we just spent the last two days walking around Boston we kinda want to take it easy. I'm not sure where you live but we're headed towards Bergenfield where my uncle lives and I'm positive that despite wanting to take it easy we're not going to want to be there long because my awful cousin, her deadbeat boyfriend and her two horribly obnoxious kids live there too and the less time spent around them the better but yeah I really have no idea what to do so if you have any suggestions! We could meet up for lunch or something and then...no idea.
Well, if you don't want to be around your uncle and want to take it easy, you can probably come over here. It's about 35 minutes away and my parents and brother don't care and probably won't even be here.
If not, I can drive over there and meet you guys for lunch or minigolf or something, and leave the city for Sunday after you've recuperated. Or if you do want to go right into the city, I can do that too! I am flexible!
(I will give you this warning though--most of what I do in Manhattan is eat and walk around. And I LOVE doing that and do it all the time, but I don't know, you know, exciting things to do.)
Heh 35 min is nothing so we could definitely come over there have lunch and maybe see Up! and just hang out and do nothing that involves massive walks and feet killing. City on Sunday would probably be best.
(haha that's cool. I've done all the touristy stuff already and am thoroughly sick of it since we used to visit my uncle alot when I was kid and I think my friends can wait til Monday to do anything New Yorky they feel they really have to do)
Oh man, that sounds like an A++ plan because I REALLY want to see Up and still haven't! I almost went tonight, but then I remembered it was a Friday night, aka the only night that the movie theatre is more crowded than Tuesday night.
Anyway, I am going to bed now, so just keep me in the loop! Text me when you are in NJ or something and we can make more concrete plans. I AM EXCITED! :D
