harmonyangel is on her way home! We watched two episodes of TWW and the premiere of Dollhouse. We also had dinner and cupcakes and bitched to each other and enjoyed ourselves, so screw everyone else :D

I had pretty much the same impression as you - I'm interested, I want to see more, and Langdon is freaking wonderful. ♥ I already know some people who are flipping out because they find the show really skeevy, but I think all the sexiness is supposed to feel uncomfortable and wrong and I think Joss is going somewhere with it, so I'm keeping my angry feminist guns holstered for now.

Ditto with this-- I'm pretty sure (I hope anyway) that ultimately one of the points Joss will be making with the "sexiness" is that the Dollhouse is eradicating memories and personalities and prostituting these people, and therefore the sex/sexy dancing is supposed to be uncomfortable to watch and wrong.

Hey girl -- here's a comment that has nothing to do with your post! Woo!

Okay, a little content that has to do with your post: I'm the only person on my friendslist and/or the universe who did not watch Dollhouse. It's not like I have a ton of time to watch t.v. (woe!), so I figure if people I like like it, it's worth picking up a few episodes in, once it's built up some steam, so to speak.

But, on to the REAL point of this post: PSYCH. And its SHEER AWESOMENESS LAST NIGHT. I thought of you the whole time, because I'm sure I only got like, two of the bazillion horror movie references, but it was still AWESOME.

OH MY GOD IT WAS THE GREATEST EPISODE EVER OH MAN. Oh my god. Between the horror movies references and the jokes and Gus and Shawn being so married oh my god! "I've seen enough slasher movies to know that if the brother goes into the woods, he doesn't even sorta come back!"

And, oh man, I love how even when they were talking about the rules of horror movies, they were breaking them left and right and oh my god, the scene in the pool and JULES and everything forever ♥
