Yuletide recs!

This is my... fifth? Maybe? yuletide and I have never done a recs post before. Can you believe it? I can, because I don't normally do recs posts in general, and I mostly don't get a chance to read lots of stories until after the New Year, but this year I managed to read my way through most of the parts of the archive I was interested in, so here is a recs

There was so much good fic this yuletide! (or it might be that i've just seen/read/heard the canon of more small fandoms this year. still - glee!)

I gotta admit though - the psych fic that was all meta and about fandom/yuletide? Totally did it for me. I like funny meta-y fics when they're good, and I feel like Gus is a prime suspect for a fictional character who would legit be in fandom.

And just YES on that 30 rock fic. SO FUNNY

I loved that Psych fic too! But it's been recced everywhere, so I decided to leave it off and rec three that I adored (one that I seriously WANT TO MARRY) that I hadn't seen as much buzz about instead XD

There seemed to be a lot of meta-y fics this year! That Psych one, the Stranger Than Fiction one, the Boston Legal one, and I think a few others that are slipping my mind! It feels like it's the year for Yuletide meta.

Well. I mean. Maybe I will get to read them after reveals, but I wanted to get through stuff and leave feedback before then. :( (It's actually more like over fifty tabs AND over forty stories in my "to feedback" folder OH GOD.)

Ooh, yes, thank you. I'm been going on recs until I have time to look through the archive and you've included some fics that I haven't seen on any other lists (Thirteen fic what!). Can't wait to read that.

Static - In the days and weeks after the events of the show, one of Dr. Horrible's fangirls manages to get close enough to him to see that things aren't as clear-cut and simple as she thought. A very realistic and bittersweet picture of what Billy struggles with now that he's gotten almost everything he thought he wanted.
