A lot of people on my f-list have been fangirling Rahm Emanuel lately (with good reason! I could watch that video of his love letter from Republicans to special interest lobbyists all day.) and I seriously can't get "Five Votes Down" out of my head. You know the part.

omg, I KNOW. I heard about it in a video of some event Biden did in Florida. One day, his younger granddaughters and Sasha and Malia came up to him and Barack and said, "We want to have a sleepover." So they cleared all the furniture out of a room and put in a teevee and the girls all watched Hannah Montana videos all night long and I DIED OF ADORABLENESS.

Heh. I went to the same college as the new Josh Lyman. Not at the same time, though, which is sad. But hippie, lesbian school FTW!

I love that the Obamas and the Bidens clearly seem to like each other. Honestly, one of my favorite parts of the Grant Park rally was when the families all came out, and they milled around for a while, and then basically someone was like, Oh! We should line up for pictures! and so any adult grabbed whatever kid was near. So Sasha ended up with Jill Biden, and Michelle grabbed one of the wee Bidens, and it just all seemed like they were a big family or those close friends who practically live at your house.

I like that they all seem like actual people.
