Um, this is intensely long, guys. Like, 7k, 8k words. I WANTED TO REMEMBER EVERYTHING, OKAY? Also, it covers from the time I left my house Wednesday until Sunday night.

Oh man, I'm so utterly jealous. ♥ I saw that Ingrid Michaelson song on YouTube, and I was pretty much freaking out too. I can't wait to see those pictures! I'll bet you got some awesome ones.

(Also, speaking of itsproductivity! I don't know if you saw it with how busy you've been, but someone posted with their own prompt earlier today. I didn't know if that was allowed or not, so I didn't say anything to them, but.)

It was so fabulous. Oh my god. I can't even describe the amount of flailing and dying that went on. My pictures aren't awesome because we were kind of far away and my camera kind of sucks, but some of them are really cute, even if they are a little blurry. I need to DL some software for batch uploading onto Flikr or something.

(and i did see that on itsproductivity. It isn't allowed and I was kind of confused by it at first? I thought, since it was tagged July 17, which hasn't happened yet, that it was for last year's prompt? It's on my list of things to address for tonight, though, and thank you for pointing it out ♥)

that cop lied to you. There IS public parking, there really is...it's just in the sketchiest parts of town (i.e. Anacostia) and it is impossible to find. Even with a GPS. True story.

It was CRAZY because I'm used to New York where every corner has a parking garage, a Starbucks, and a Duane Reade and NONE OF THOSE THINGS WERE AROUND IN DC. It was crazy-making!

Also, I wish you were theeeeere. I mean, obviously it's awesome that you are in Ireland, but it would have been cool to see you. I realized, when going through this entry again just now, that krabapple was always running off to meet friends and I was not!

Psh, Duane Reade. Silly, we don't have those! Starbucks, though, I'm surprised you didn't see more of those. But yeah, the parking situation in DC is...well, I mean, I always take the metro in when I go, unless I'm going to the airport, which does have parking.

You'll just have to come back! Maybe next year if I have an internship in DC in the summer? I don't know. You should come see me anyway.

Cons are pretty much great, but the greatness often hinges on the kind of people you are with. My worst con experience was with a bunch of stressed out people who were acting like control freaks (who were also my close friends!). My best con experiences have been with like-minded and like-attituded friends who are ready to find the fun in everything. But it is really awesome XD

Yay for being exempt from people who did not say hi, because at least I did!

Kate is oh so pretty.

The girl saying she was praying for them was TOTALLY CREEPY. I think they handled it really well though. Because holy AWKWARD.

I also heard rumors of unfavorable comments made about Jewel Staite at this con, but didn't see any directly. I would like to know who made them and go punch them in the face.

I JUST KEPT THINKING OF THAT EPISODE OF TWW. For like, the rest of the day it kept popping into my head. "This isn't a good list! This is a list of people who are going to hell!"
