quotes and fests and stuff

Saw The Farnsworth Invention with Steven and Priscilla. It was... incredible. I loved it and I'm really sad that it's closing and I'm only just discovering it now. I'm used to seeing a show I love a few times before it's gone. D:

I'm tired, but I might do a full review tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads-up! I've been reading a lot of queer fiction recently - well, A Home at the End of the World, and some others - and I'd like to work something out regarding all of that. You're definitely signing up though? Because all your fic is super. And your queer fic is super.

Ooo, if you liked A Home at the End of the World you should definitely read Michael Cunningham's other stuff! The Hours deals with queer issues and Specimen Days deals with an even odder twist of sexuality in its last part. He's amazing. One of my favorite authors ever who I had the joy of taking a class from a few years ago. I JUST LOVED HIM MORE AFTER THAT.

::cough:: Anyways. I'm definitely signing up. I don't know what fandom I'm doing yet, but I'm going to do something. It also might give me the inspiration to finish the big original story I've been working on that actually has the premise of one of the prompts I submitted XD

I have read them, and I absolutely ADORED them. Seriously, The Hours is a book that I just read whenever I feel down: I can just pick it up and know exactly which bit I'm reading from and it makes me feel all warm and happy. :)

Specimen Days ... I didn't like at first, and I found it hard to read, but now that I've been through it in my head I like it. The last part is probably my favourite. I am sooo jealous that you met him in person. I would KILL for that opportunity, *g*.

Fandom? I'm not sure either. I was looking at their interests and the only fandom that I'm remotely a part of is Harry Potter. I would love to do SGA, but all I know about it comes from fic... So that's probably not a good idea...

But you should. *hint HINT hint*
