So, Kara did this last night and I figured I'd do it. Today is the first day of December, which means that I'm off my self-imposed break/hiatus from fic writing! It felt good to take a step back, but I'm excited to get back in too

Actually, as I've improved as a writer, I've totally lost most of my confidence. I know I've gotten better, but somehow I feel like I'm just the worst. Which is odd, because back in the early days, I totally had an ego.
This totally makes sense though, because the better you are, the more you're able to recognize what truly good writing consists of, and therefore the more you feel your own lack of whatever things you lack. I understand this feeling 100%, although I do still fluctuate, and while I'm... very happy in the "I'm so gr8" half of the see-saw, it's not actually very good for me XD;
