I know the journal entry was titled "I'm not actually writhing any more of this," but it's a snippet with Mary Shannon and Erik, I have to at least ask. No worries if you really don't want to write any more of it, but if you do, three days later?

"Love at first sight," Marshall all but coos as Lehnsherr and Charles tangle their fingers together over the chess board and then smile shyly at each other. Mary wants to puke.
"Did you even know he was capable of smiling?" Mary asks.
"When I was helping him move into the house, I tripped over a box one of the movers left on the path and fell into a mud puddle," Marshall says. "He smiled then."
Mary shakes her head and turns back to Lehnsherr and Charles. It's like a gruesome train wreck, except that gruesome train wrecks are exciting, at least. This is nauseating. "I'd almost rather they were sucking face," she mutters. Charles actually bats his eyelashes. Who the fuck actually does that? "No, I take it back, I do wish they were sucking face

"I wouldn't be opposed to that," Erik says. He's got about six inches on Charles. He has to look down at him and he likes that. It's not something he's ever noticed with any of the past men and women he's slept with, but he definitely likes it here, maybe because he has this weird feeling that Charles likes it

OH GOD I honestly flailed a bit when I opened my inbox to see this and it lingered while I was reading. Because... ahkldfhaslfhdas. Your Mary voice is fucking flawless, for starters, even though I think hers is one of the hardest in any fandom (that I know of) to write. And then Marshall's "He laughed then" and just Marshall in general (and the fact Marshall was the one to help Erik move in, because of course he was).
And then Charles and Erik. I will never tire of Erik and Charles falling in love. If there was a gif to depict my feelings on Erik and Charles falling in love, it would be this. And there's something about how Charles loving to talk and Erik not that just really strikes me. Also, freckles.
Also also, "Make sure he takes you somewhere nice, you should see the money he pulls in with that translation crap he does."
