"Are you the future mother of my children?" Ted asked Lily-or-Lilly.

"I don't think so," said Lily-or-Lilly. "I think I am dating Jason Segel."

"I thought he was dating Barney?" Ted asked, confused.

"Only in the outtakes," Lily-or-Lilly clarified hastily. "Barney actually dates lots of women. Lots and lots of women, though using the word 'dating' is entering a gray area. Sometimes he for-reals dates Robin, but sometimes Robin is his wingman."

"So in a show about my future wife, everyone else is coupling up but me?" Ted asked.

"Pretty much," Lily-or-Lilly said.

"Oh," Ted said sadly. Then he stood up and yelled, "I LOVE EVERYONE IN THIS BAR!"

The ending literally made me laugh out loud. LITERALLY. (Not figuratively...which won't make sense, because you don't watch the show...Oops.)
