The first time Jack took Ianto's hand, they were walking across the Plass in the middle of the afternoon. Ianto was headed to the dry cleaner and, to everyone's surprise, Jack announced he wanted an excuse to stretch his legs.

Halfway across the Plass, Jack took Ianto's hand and pressed something into the palm. A moment later, he sneezed theatrically and reclaimed his hand. Ianto glanced down at the object left behind. It was a piece of paper folded in half twice, and Ianto knew better than to make a show out of opening it.

There's a Trexillian bug in the Hub. I think it's tapped into the CCTV.He nodded, almost imperceptibly, and Jack relaxed and took his hand again

The fourth time Jack took Ianto's hand, Ianto immediately tensed. He scanned the surrounding crowd for aliens or lunatics and came up empty, but that didn't mean they weren't there

They are utterly adorable! I love how Jack keeps taking back Ianto's hand in the early ones, and Ianto's all "mission, mission, not going to say anything." Oh, boys.

Eeeeeee! You wrote me fic! And I was out of town an not on line for several days, so I didn't get to read it until now...
