Shopping for clothing is never fun for me. I do it when I have to, but otherwise I just don't go that often. I never have fun shopping for pants but it's never been the nightmare I know some people go through. Yesterday, I think the fates realized that and decided to frustrate the hell out of me. (juniors are sized odd numbers, and misses/womens are sized with even numbers; don't ask me why). Also, don't take stock in the numbers. It isn't about weight. Companies are cutting their sizes differently and they constantly change their cuts. I have pants ranging in all sorts of crazy sizes. It all depends on how they are stitched and what kind of fabric, yadda yadda.
All of those reasons contribute to the fact that I loathe shopping for pants. By biggest piece of advice is go for what fits, but don't think of it in terms of size.
