Name that robot!

There is this t-shirt, which has 51 robots on it. Alex and I have been trying to name them all, and we totally should be able to name more!
So we are enlisting livejournal's help.

At first I was thinking that we would pick the robot's names, like at a Christening.
Then, I realised I was wrong...
And that I don't know robots....

A couple more came to me after considering the picture.

44. Mazinger Z
50. Daggit from the original 'Battlestar Galactica' (Boxy's robot dog)

The former is one of the archetypal 'super robots' of 70s anime. I originally thought, 'could that be Gurren Lagann?'... then thought to check on the classic inspirations for that series. ;-)

I recognise 27. I thought I recognised it as the robot parrot from 'The Pirate Planet' (Polyavitron), but I was wrong. I recall a wind-up stop motion mechanical bird from somewhere.

There was a robot owl in "Clash of the Titans" -- but it doesn't really look the same ...

... You know what, it's the vehicle that the Owl-themed hero in "Watchmen" rides around in!

I was thinking that, or a Tripod, but I don't think either qualifies as a robot.

It is! Smitthers identified it earlier. Baz did identify the squid robot as a Tripod, but I had never heard of them, so I can't vouch for their robot-ness.
