So there is a major defecit of cool things to do on a Friday / Saturday night... especially considering I a) hate parties and b) am alone (ie not in a group).

Any suggestions?

There are a few activities going on at TJ this month, like the Talent Show tomorrow or Powderpuff in a week, if you're interested in that sort of thing.
Beyond school events... yeah.

If it helps, I know exactly what you mean. Most of my friends do MUN-ish things most weekends, so I often don't have a "group" to do anything with either. I really wish this city had night activities... because there is absolutely nothing to do either alone or with one or two friends.

Maybe you and I should start hanging out and exploring on our own?
