А как бы вы объяснили человеку, говорящему только по-английски, значение русского слова "тискать"? 🙂
История: увидел одну картинку в хистори инсты.
На картинке была анимешная девочка, на майке которой была сделана надпись "Тискай" :) И я попытался объяснить человеку, не говорящему по-русски, что же значит эта надпись :)

It's sounds like an offer.
Squeeze, touch - hard but with love and passion :-)
Translator says that it is translated just as "squeeze", but I disagree :-)
It means to do different action - crumble, squeeze, touch. With passion.
For example, kids love to тискать (it is infinitive form) cats, dogs and so on :-) the may love animals very much, but animals are not always happy to be treated this way.
But some time they like it.
And the same with people :-)
And yes, it's not a gentle touch :-) but there is no aggression in it. Only passion :-)
