this is what i did during my short hiatus from eljay and internets and all those things that make me think i have some semblance of a life. in point form because i couldn't be arsed writing. everything's so much better when there isn't at least a dozen things to worry about at any given time, and i don't think i've been this happy since edinburgh. yesterday, i went to the library and checked out random books to better acquaint myself with wuerzburg, germany and kiruna, sweden. and i made out all these mental lists of all sorts. and then i realized that unless you swing by europe, i will not be seeing you at least for the next year (depending on my schedule, i might randomly decide to take a week off and come to your graduation, but that's all up in the air now). sigh.

i'll be crashing my cousin's in detroit after smith housing ends (august 20) and then flying to canada from there to uwaterloo where my brother's pretty much decided he's going. but by then, i'm guessing you'll be back in pa, right?

I fly back to PA on the 13th of August. From there, I think I might visit Jen Chan in Newark the following weekend, if she isn't busy, or Sarbani and Anu in Boston, if they're not busy and haven't crowded their apartment (and if I can find cheap airfare.)

My plans for travel otherwise are very much undecided, besides go back to Smith, probably go back to PA over Thanksgiving, etc. I guess our paths won't cross for awhile.

i wants to go to this. day one is DFA pretty much.

miss you muchly. animal collective isn't nearly as fun without the random singalongs. and i bought both the DFA albums the other day, and really, not the same as listening to it while you lane-switched like a monkey on crack. i still think the rapture are over-rated though. yeah.

you need to develop pictures from LA that are on your camera. please tell me you haven't lost it. and please, please develop it and send me a set. i'll do the same with the san diego and san francisco ones.
