so, I've been almost entirely away from the internet since Friday afternoon.   And already it seems like I'll never catch up with flist.  AND tonight I've got too, too, too many work things to finish up and tomorrow too, and then Tuesday we leave and we're gone until Sunday night.  So I'm gonna be scarce.

Lessee...I'm still jobless (the guy at that school posted the listing and then LEFT TOWN) but I've gotten hooked on the Tim Hutton Nero Wolfe. Om nom nom. I have also decided that this is a sabbatical, so I will enjoy myself.

Worst things in recent months: also not on lj.

But they are good, and bad and bad, respectively.

We have lo these many bits of garden produce, and I am praying and praying that I don't have jury duty this week, because it is oh Jesus the last thing I need before the guys go out of town a week from tomorrow and I go to Montreal the Thursday after that.
