Uberhoood: Strangetown
Almost done!!! Only Pleasantview left to go and we'll have made it through a full rotation! Strangetown was a lot of fun, and had a bit of a baby boom, but not quite like the one in Veronaville. Of course that means the family tree has expanded! I still need to add pictures of the Strangetown folks, but you can still take a look if you want. I really want to get the Pleasantview post out this weekend, so I can start on round 2 during Thanksgiving break, but I don't know how possible that is. While I don't have any more midterms to study for, I do have a term paper and a project due next Tuesday and Wednesday, which I planned on finishing up this weekend. Well, finishing the project and totally writing my paper, but still. My homework load is pretty light for the rest of the week, so I'll try to make progress on my term paper and project, so I won't feel so bad playing some this weekend. Enough about my boring academic life, and onto the antics of Strangetown!
Olive Specter: I may be in the minority here, but I never found her that interesting. Sure she has a mysterious graveyard next to the house, had many husbands and son with Death, but she's still a boring elder. Maybe it's because I'm not playing this as a plotty story, but either way she's not that interesting, but some fun stuff did happen at her house.
No makeover for Olive, since her look suits her and I'd be tempted to give her eyebrows. She spent most of her time skilling since she wants to max all 7 skills.
Appropriate welcome wagon. Olive has two bolts with PT9, but that won't happen, even though he and Jenny only have one bolt. They don't seem like the cheating type.
Hi, fake Bella!
Bye, fake Bella! She'll make a nice addition to Olive's garden, and now I'll actually know which Bella is online.
Oddly, the pizza girl was the only one who ever came in the house, but she scared Olive all the time.
Sophia called 3 times a day. As soon as they'd hang up, she'd call right back.
Then right before the season changed, Bella made an appearance. :)
Buzz and Buck Grunt: Buzz has married Erin Beaker in my game twice, and one of those times she was also seeing Tank. Buck just skills, grows up and dates Jill Smith. This time it was different. Buzz is still single, and Buck skills, grows up and doesn't date Jill. :)
Buzz, he looks much more approachable now. And Buck doesn't get a makeover since he'll be growing up anyway.
Jill drops by unannounced and reaches for the nonexistent doorbell.
Aww! BFFs and soon to be not future lovers, unless by chance they become triple bolters.
Sorry, Klara, but not going to happen.
Buzz was asked on an outing by the Uberhood stalker Sophia Jocque and she brought along an interesting group.

Then Buzz wanted to throw a party, and so he did, and love which I approve of blossomed. :D
Those two have apparently made up, but they're still getting divorced.

The next night it was Buck's birthday, and the general wanted to throw another party and he did. It was a failure.
It was all Opal Contrary's fault! The party got up to a Roof Raiser, then Opal decided to be rude to EVERYONE she came across. The score dropped to Real Dud, so Buzz sent her home and it went back up to Snoozer. Now Buck has a bad memory for his crappy birthday party. :(
No more helicopter for Buzz. He wants to be the head of the SCIA, so back to the crappy carpool junker.
They'd be an interesting couple...
The Smith Family: Hooray for the Smiths! I just like them, and have always made Jenny and PT have twins. I debated whether or not I wanted them to have another baby this time around, since there's enough Sims in the neighborhood and they're already on the family tree...
PT9. yes his outfit looks the same, but it's the one from Family Fun Stuff, because I hated the socks on his original outfit.
Jenny, and no Jill since just like Buck, she's growing up. And can anyone please point me towards any recolors of Jenny's sweater please? :)
They both wanted to WooHoo, so why not.

I had him put on clothes after that. I'm sure the welcome wagon appreciated it.
Since the welcome wagon was over, I figured they should just invite all of their friends and family.
I can definitely picture those two as friends.
Chloe couldn't make it to the party, but she did call to invite PT on an outing where she proceeded to become Morty's mistress.

The gardener came in to watch the birth even though there's a ton of plants that needed trimming. She ended up staying until 2AM.

I love when couples who I didn't want to together, who got together anyway, break up on their own. Now Johnny can move back in with his parents and with Erin! Then Ophelia can marry Tybalt. :D

Oh, and because he had a girl, too! Her name is Zaniah!
Then the next day, Tara stopped by for some non-reproductive WooHoo, which was followed by...
Navi's birthday! Of course, Vidcund isn't home, and Lazlo is busy, so Pascal does the honors.
She looks a lot like her pollinator. I wish more Vid was in there, but I like her anyway. Huge lips and tiny eyes compared to her huge eye tiny lips cousins. :)

Which means it was also Nashira's birthday! Wow, pregnancy to childhood in one season.
