Thanks yeah, the house is sold, so I now have money left over instead of working out which bill to pay, the other half has paid two child support payments, I think that is only so I will have to pay when the kids get over to him, but I would have anyway, as they are the ones that miss out. I'm in a house well unit, that I can afford, my kids will be with me for the school holidays, and I will go over once or twice during term time, and it will all be okay, it has to be. I have nine shifts of night shift then three weeks off, two with the kids and one week to drive them to Adelaide, were going to stop at the Zoo in Dubbo for a couple of nights then their Uncle lives in Broken Hill so we'll visit for another couple of days and then drive them on to their dad, was the only way I could work out how to get all their stuff over there, way to expensive to fly it over, and the cost of getting a moving van or what ever for the clothes, toys, books and dvd's was the same as hiring a larger car and me flying home, and we get a holiday as well
( ... )
Sounds like you've got everything planned out as well as you can, I'm sure the kids will enjoy the zoo and family visits. Moving all their stuff will be a marathon task though.
Thanks, I found the icon years ago and it was so cute I had to have it =)
Sorry to hear all that has happened. I hope things work out for you including the writing - being able to go into another world helps a lot I've found. *hugs* K xx
Wow! When the proverbial crap hit the fan, it really did it in spades for you. I'm so sorry things have been going so terribly for you lately. I'm sure the kids will soon learn the error of their choice. Some people are really good at making promises they know they have no intention of carrying through with, or cannot possibly deliver on. The disappointments will get real old real fast and then they'll be begging to come home. It's a hard lesson to learn that the "fun" parent is not necessarily the one you want to live with. Good luck. I hope things work out for you very soon.
I'm glad you can find some solace in your writing. And of course, the fact that we get to reap the rewards has absolutely nothing to do with it. Nope. Nothing at all. That being said, I really can't wait to see what you come up with.
Yay Supernova! I'm glad that John finally came to your corner of the world, as not everyone can travel so far to see him. Hope you asked for a nice (hug) and a funny picture, he is so good at these ;)
Are you also following his Twitter or Facebook? He posted lots of videos and photos from Sydney, he did a lot of sightseeing. I shall do another travel photoalbum with these pictures, I already did one when he went to Spain. He said it is lying on the coffee table in his house in Palm Springs now.
