Hulk Trouble!

A real can of worms seems to have opened up over the Hulk's appearance in The Avengers. The upshot seems to be that the Hulk will appear, but Bruce Banner won't be played by Ed Norton.

I'm thinking Hulk-in-a-box.

"Oh no! This film's bad-guy is too strong. What do we do?!"

"this is Nick Fury, drop in Big Green.."

*Giant metal box falls out of Helicarrier, Hulk smashes it open. HULK SMAAAASHH!!!*

All I'm hoping for is a Captain America/Hulk face-off like in The Ultimates. :-)

I hate that bickering and backbiting has started in conjunction with a Marvel project. I'd like to think part of the success of Iron Man happened because the cast and crew worked together professionally.

Yup, it's a shame people can't put their differences and egos aside and just make good films, but it's Hollywood, and Marvel films are big business. There's bound to be a bit of politics behind the scenes.

It's not the first bit of Marvel trouble either. There was the business of Don Cheadle taking over from Terrence Howard as Rhodey in Iron Man 2, which I've still never heard the whole story about.
