Some kind of mess room? A general hangout space? Maybe including some workout equipment if that would be useful for anyone. How are clothes maintained? Laundry room?

Argh, a mess, that's a great point. How could I forget food?

And some kind of rec room might make sense, considering it's typically a space-truck going on long hauls that might be boring (even if this trip isn't). That might get moved into a part of a cargo bay or that might be just how they set it up though... Hmmmm

XD Yeah arm variation is their obvious "race" distingisher... that is so not a word but I can't think of a real one.

Mess hall. Maybe a recreation area as well. Though normally I'd attach that to crew quarters.

I think I definitely need both! I also was debating having some kind of AI Core/systems room in the front section (probably redundantly backed up in the rear too).

Technically speaking, that can be hidden behind a false wall anywhere on the ship. Main Bridge or Engineering makes sense, though I personally wouldn't keep the AI core near the engines. Or even Cargo Bay 1, since that's located just below the bridge.

Also, I see the crew quarters, but how about some kind of smallish mess area? Unless that is dumb? Soft Serve yogurt machine, maybe? ;3
