Andalites very rarely looked all in one place at one time. When all four of their eyes focused on something it was important. The work wasn't important enough to focus all of his eyes on. His stalk eyes saw Rikku before she would have been close to him.

< Hello > he said to her. The word simply implanted into her head, a soft and welcoming greeting. He stopped his work and turned to look at her, hooves pressing firmly on the ground. For a moment all four eyes stared at the girl. He needed to see if there was even a hint of Yeerk hate or disgust in her face. He wasn't entirely convinced that this whole thing wasn't some clever trick thought up by the Controllers yet.

< I am creating a scoop. A place for me to live while I am here. > He explained. It was turning out to be a kind of small but open cave where he could stay when he wanted a bit of privacy.

He didn't mind being stared at. He held open his too many fingered hands for her so she could look at him. His main eyes looked back at her as his stalk eyes gazed around them.

< My people are free ranging. One of those tiny rooms would make me uncomfortable. The crew is allowing me to stay in the gardens instead. >

Actually, there were *two* of the blue aliens to stare at. There was no confusing them, Ax was lighter and smaller than his older brother. But the resemblence was obvious.

He did not speak of the important things immediately. That would wait until they could speak privately. He extended his tail blade, so they could touch in the typical greeting.

Elfangor was more than pleased to see his little brother. Their tail blades touched, the Andalite version of an embrace.

He said nothing right away, only looked over Ax a moment. He had grown since they had parted ways on the Dome ship. It made his hearts warm with joy to look at the warrior he was sure his brother had become.

< I am glad to see you. It is not easy to understand everything that is happening, though. It is clear that we have much to talk about. > Ax said. < I am wondering, as well, if any of the human children are here as well. I have not seen any of them as yet. >

Elfangor took his tailblade back. All four of his eyes focused on his little brother.

< You met them. > It wasn't a question. When the Ellimist had taken Elfangor from Earth he had seen his brother's timeline match the ones of his son and the other human children. He knew that Ax would survive the crash to Earth and meet the humans when he saw them in the construction site. He wanted to barrage his brother with questions about Tobias, but he remained as calm as ever and carefully guarded any hints of his desire to know more about his son. < I have not seen any of them since... coming here >
