DATE: Day 79 CHARACTER(S): ms_hellsing and the Doctor. STATUS: Incomplete SUMMARY: After chatting with Adam, Integral has some questions for the Doctor. LOCATION: The labs!
Just finishing up analyzing various DNA samples, the Doctor heard someone approach before speaking.
No, there was no reason to really focus on the security cameras while deeply concentrated on his work, unless of course he was in the other labs, the most top-secret ones that held things that most people on this ship would never, ever have access to for any reason whatsoever.
There were just some things that the remainder of the human race just didn't need to know and it was perfectly fine to keep it that way.
The Doctor looked up on his unexpected visitor.
An officer, was she? Hopefully this wasn't some ridiculous little game that Luke was playing. But he would figure that out in time, see what the intentions were for this visit. "Yeeees?" He inquired, almost carefully, as if that would be the case here.
"Adam Monroe," she stated in an authoritative tone, her eyes taking a sweeping glance of the lab. "He's complained of being collared for no reason. Have you a moment to discuss this matter with me?" It was clear from the edge in Integral's words that she wasn't really asking for the Doctor's availability. She'd come for answers and planned to get them.
The Doctor smirked silently to himself for a moment. He knew this had to be coming eventually, specific inquiries about the collars.
But it really would depend on who it was about as to how many answers would be given.
"Ah, sure, sure," he conceded slowly, regarding Integral with slight interest, "Mr. Monroe, is it you say? Vell he is of an.. unusual circumstance indeed. Very, very unusual, you see. Oh and there is much reason, deny it though he might."
Was he... dodging? Integral crossed her arms over her chest, lips pressed into a thin line. "Explain it to me, Doctor. To my satisfaction," she added. "I'd like to know why he was collared since he claims not to know."
