Sora did his best to dress up, trying to salvage himself in Palpatine's eyes, not sure why his boyfriend had suddenly done an about face regarding their relationship. Worrying his lip between his teeth, he adjusted his cap before stepping out of his cabin and heading for the elevators, hoping he hadn't done something wrong.

Sora wasn't going to admit it to anyone anytime soon, but Palpatine had come to mean a lot to him, more then Sora had expected, and the brush off he had recieved from the man stung badly.

Palpatine hadn't bothered to dress up. In fact, he wasn't as concerned with his appearance as he normally was. And actually, he found himself wishing he could don women's clothing.

What on Earth was going on in his head?

An attractive female walked by. Palpatine shot her his most flirtatious smile, his thoughts not exactly along the lines of 'not in the mood' as he'd told Sora.

Hmmmmm.

The woman didn't respond to his flirtation. In fact, she seemed a little creeped out by it. Well, of course... he was a great deal older than her, she probably found him creepy. Usually he was a little more discrete.

Palpatine saw Sora approaching; he hoped he hadn't seen him interacting with the female.

Sora had froze slightly, watching Palpatine before shaking off what he thought he saw, knowing he was imagining things.

He had to be.

Smile brightly, Sora sat across from Palpatine, reaching out to take the older man's hand. "I missed you," he said whole heartedly.

Palpatine recoiled from Sora's touch. He didn't want to hurt the boy, but... he knew Sora had sex on his mind and it made his skin crawl.

"I... I don't know what's wrong with me," Palpatine admitted, taking a deep breath. He could at least hold Sora's hand, couldn't he? Just hand-holding. Nothing more. He tentatively reached to take Sora's hand. It's just skin. It could be a woman's hand you're holding. Yes, that's it. Think of it that way.
