DATE: Day 32 CHARACTER(S): Mail "Matt" Jeevas binary_addict ; Alita Tiala littleimposter STATUS: Semi-closed / Completed. SUMMARY: Alita puts the moves on Matt meets Matt to learn about video games. LOCATION: Media Center.
Matt was sitting near the very back of the gaming section, in what he had come to consider 'his' corner. After all, he was there whenever he had free time. And on this ship that was very often. When they weren't in a frenzy over a new spate of disappearances or some bizarre drama, most people on this ship didn't seem to have much to do. So Matt had found a relatively secluded area where he could game or mess with computers without anyone bothering him
( ... )
As Alita approached Matt she realized that he was simply a mature boy. It should’ve dawned on her earlier! Of course he was young, he plays video games. Alita sighed and turned back to the boy.
“Yes.” She nodded. “Our only two patients at the current time are Rui, and Claire-both which are unable to move for one reason or another.” Alita replied calmly. At this point she wasn’t sure if she’d try to make him more than just a friend… it all depended on how much he shares with just ‘friends’.
Alita turned her attention to the screen. It was an… odd game to say the least.
Matt wasn't a very open person, at least about things that were really important. If there was anything that Wammy's had taught him it was how to keep secrets.
"That sucks," Matt said, frowning a bit. "Any idea how long Rui's gonna be out for?" The other mechanic was annoying, but he did his share of the work.
Matt noticed Alita looking at the screen... and particularly at the gore. Clearly not a horror fan. He smirked. "Don't worry, I'll find something easier for you."
“Both his legs are broken.” She commented. “He’s going to rehab for pain pills, too.” Alita added on, still fixated on the screen. There was gore no doubt, and the gore was all over the screen. Matt didn’t expect her play this, did he?
Oh, thank god no.
“Oh,” she beamed with a slight uncomfortable giggle to herself. “You don’t have to,” she said. “I can just watch you play if you want.”
