Anyone like waffles?

SUMMARY: Gabriel and Anju makes a lot of waffles. They decide that having a waffle dinner would be a good idea.

Palpatine was never one to miss the chance to socialize. He was the first one into the cafeteria. He saw little Anju first. "Hello, mago-chan!" he called out to her with a cheerful wave. "Where's this waffle party taking place?"

Anju looks towards Palpatine when he called out to her. Walking towards the older man, she greets him. "Hello jii-san!"

Pointing towards the decorated table, Anju exclaims, "We're having the waffle dinner over there. Mr. Gray is still trying to figure out where everyone is going to sit."

It was easier for Gabriel to keep himself busy rather than leave himself alone to his thoughts, for the time being, and making waffles...lots of them, was certainly one thing that required very little brain power.

And, well. Waffles were good.

He stepped out of the kitchen. "Anju, maybe we should just have people seat themselves. I'd rather not make any assumptions." He noticed Palpatine. "Hello."

"Ah, yes, you've made it quite festive in here! Seat me wherever you'd like -- er, wherever he'd like." What a far cry this was from a month ago, when the fanciest table with the nicest view was always held for him at fine dining establishments. But he wouldn't think about that now.

Anju nods to Gabriel's suggestion. Turning to Palpatine, Anju says, "Mr. Gray says that people should seat themselves. Where would you like to sit, jii-san?"

As Anju asks that question, she grabs his hand and leads him to the table.
