Zuko in my dreams never looks like he does in the show. He's bald and skinny and he wears flip flops and weird clothes and a hat with a pink flower on it. His pants have smilies on them, and he doesn't have his scar! He cruises around the Earth Kingdom on an ostrich horse, gets into bar fights, and cheats people at cards. Occasionally, he blows things up.
All the way back in 2006, I had a dream about Zuko looking like this and acting like the crackheaded bastard child of Sokka and Bumi and I have never been able to get rid of this image of him. Occasionally, when I'm reading your fics, Crack!Zuko pops into my head. You have no idea what this does to your stories. >_<
And I've figured out that I will have dreams about whatever the last thing was I was thinking about before I fell asleep. So I've been trying to "manipulate" my dreams by, well, thinking about the things I want to have dreams about--good fic ideas, winning the lottery (don't even play the lottery = rofl). Stuff like that. But it always ends up turning into some crazy crack or some nightmare. One night I deamed I bought the winning lottery ticket for Lotto and someone stole it form me and cashed it in. ;_;
Before I went to bed last night, I wanted to do some research about various sabers in the dao family because I needed to think of a name for an ancestor of Piandao's and decided I would just name that person after a sword in the same family. None of the other names roll of the tongue as nicely as "piandao" does. I just think that word is beautiful. :D However, I found Niuweidao (also referred to as the oxtail saber) to be an interesting choice.
Look familiar?

And of course this lead to a silly dream where Crack!Zuko showed up at Piandao's with his broadswords, wearing a t-shirt that said "Two swords are better than one!" >:D
Crack!Zuko is like my imaginary BFF. >_<
And my icon is very relevant. It represents the expression on Piandao's face when Zuko just showed up out of the blue dressed like Chong's long lost brother and looking for information about good places to eat in Shu Jing.
