thanks julia! i got my stuff back mostly. i had some people at work help me recover the stuff off the hd. it's all good.

yes, vegas was interesting. actually way too hot. i don't think it was a good summer vacation spot. but oh well. it was a break :)

yes, computer troubles are a bitch. i've never had a hd die before. a little unsettling. but ive learned to back up. :)

the worst is when your backups die too! thats happened to me a time or two.

ugh, yeah backups dying would be horrendous. i'm praying that won't happen. i'm actually gonna look into a portable 80gb hd to back up my backup :) i saw one at costco for $170. not half bad.

eh, vegas was a little fun. i liked taking pictures. but it was a family vacation, and my family is so dysfunctional. anyway, it was a nice break. :)
