it's almost official. i'm going to med school in august! Georgetown just recently pulled me off the waitlist!

i had trouble believing it for a bit. i'd spent so much time accepting that i'd have to reapply. but i'm in! it's a relief, but i'm currently scared and excited all at the same time :)

yeah, med school apps are crazy. i really did not anticipate that. they really make you wait, even if they don't put you on the waitlist. get your stuff in early!! learn from my mistakes.

i will try my best to come check in once and a while. i will miss lj'ing and talking to you and everyone. i'll probably wish i'd taken a year off. i looked at the schedule the other day, and it's insane. it's 9-5 almost everyday or something along those lines. we start out with gross anatomy right away. oy.

this is an MD program. i've had enough research i think.

yay, MCAT! dude, i was signed up for that too. well, i was in a kaplan class preparing for august. the day i got my acceptance, i had just gotten home from the class at 10 pm (it is intense). just goes to show, if you shell out $1500 for MCAT prep the second time around, you'll get into a school. anyway, good luck!! i'm sure you will do great.
