I really need to reread some Greek mythology.

This was great. I love spare and elegant ficlets. I love the examination of all the roles fire plays in their lives. Lee's reaction to the sun echoes what humanity's first reaction to fire probably was - fascination, possibility, unease.

Oh, that's a very cool interpretation. I got the idea from the spectacular sunrises I've been lucky to witness recently. That it can carry that much further is awesome.
