I loved this... it killed me, but I loved it.

It also sent my muse into a "fix" frenzy (which is bad cause she hasn't figured out how to channel Kara yet) - cause you know I always cave to the need for happy ever after.. but somehow, I don't think that really suits Lee and Kara...yet.

Hehe, you are totally the fixer! Can you channel Lee? He tends to stick around, but I actually find writing him easier than Kara.

Happily ever afters are good for later, and hell, nothing with these two is going to be easy. :)

Bad news - Muse one. She got help from the John and Aeryn muse I have successfully ignored. I actually mapped out a conversion for a John and Aeryn story I started and never finished. Ask Nickless and trickster_ about Ghosts in the Mind. I think my muse is a bit upset at Kara, that and the fact that Lee does seem to be hanging around my poor brain... now lets see if I actually get more than an outline on paper ...

Wah! *angsts* Poor Starbuck. Poor Lee. I like how this time around, he's not angry - just, you know, crushed. The image of him transfixed by the single tag came through very strongly. Also, I really like the setting of the gangway - it's something different from what we've seen before but still logical.

I can very easily see him doing the angry thing again, but I decided to go this way. Imho, it's showing that he knows her well enough to pick up on this without her expressly saying anything. Sorta the same bit as it was with Gaius, but different. Tempered, learning from past mistakes, etc. etc.

Basically, there's infinite permutations. *g*

Transfixion by tag is what started the whole thing, so I've very pleased that worked for you so well.
