But -- about your "Neolithic Romeo and Juliet" -- Mantua, where the bodies were found in a construction site, is the city that Romeo went to after he was exiled from Verona.
they (archaelogists) actually think that the man died, and that (as was the custom in those times) the woman was sacrificed so that he wouldn't have to face the afterlife alone.
