I totally love Xanadu. I'm a huge Olivia Newton-John geek and I saw that flick in the theater by virtue of BEGGING my mother for days and days until she relented just to shut me up. I have it on VHS, but the tape is failing, so I really need to get it on DVD... ;)

I think I'll watch my VHS this weekend.

I wonder if there are any screencaps around. I think it would be fun to icon. I'll have to check into that.

First off, Fight Club, LOVE IT! Edward Norton is the best in that movie and it really does remind you that so much of what we value is just crap.

Also, LOVE Xanadu! Gene Kelly, rollerskating, silly animated love scene! What's not to love?!

And finally, I happened to catch part of The Incredibles last night. Such good fun! I love the fact that the writers managed to get a scene of this superhero family basically riding around in a WInnebago. Hee!

Did you know they're making a stage musical of it. I believe Jai (of Queer Eye, and also of Rent on broadway) appeared in the staged reading. Wheeee!!!
