1. Oldschool!Who correctamundo. It's obvious. I do indeed love the crickety-cricket and the ginger menace. What can I say? You know me well. But ponder this. - What about NewWho?
2. Honestly, I waver. Merlin I love to pieces, and whilst Colin is guh!worthy, Merlin is less-so, so I think it's mainly for the snarky awesome and the evil-grins-of-evil. That said, Gwen is fucking awesome. And so is Hunith. Yay for strong female characters! (Even if they aren't in it all the time.)

2. See above! Yeah, Merlin, but I waver at times. Gwen is so kickass, and Hunith is underappriciated, and Gaius is just made of snarky old man! Arthur brings the pretty, but Merlin is teh awesome.

8. NoOo. It used to be. In the first couple of books, but JKR's writing went mad at the end there, and I lost a little bit of love for him. But I gained some for (as Oz guessed) Neville, who I always thought was awesome and the other person who no one's guessed. Go on, guess, you know you want to!

anyway just thinking the wizard from discworld is on the front cover of the science of discworld - he's the one in glasses don't actually know his name as I haven't read anything other than the watch books so i leave this as a clue to anyone else.
