Woohoo!

Not only am I going to see Russell Howard on the 16th at the Sherman Theatre!! And that is good news.

I am also going to see Tim Minchin next Wednesday in Birmingham!!!!!!!

I squee mightily. In fact, I'm squeeing so hard I'm actually making no noise at all, because the amount of internal squee has broken my brain.

Oh wow. I'm quite jealous, hee! I thought about going but with it being midweek I decided I should be a responsible 2nd year and concentrate on my degree. Plus my sisters don't appreciate his amazingness, and I didn't fancy walking around Brum on my own! Lol. Have fun, it's be AMAZING!

I don't have lectures til 1 in the afternoon on thursday, so I figured what the hell! Also we have yet to get any actual work from any of the teachers, we ickle firsties clearly can't be trusted!

I couldn't book a hotel (twas v. expensive, and also couldn't find anywhere), so am sleeping in train station (or rather not sleeping in the train station).

Did you get tickets in the end to see Russell?

I spent today learning how to swordfight, learning how to shoot with a bow, watching people fight with axes and learning how to fight with spears. All this and lots of fun and messing about (oh, and we put Beth in a suit of armour and shot at her (with blunt arrows) it was really fun, especially when they pinged off the axe!) and flailing and laughing. (Guess where I was?!)

Yaaaaay!
