He's right. Once you get past Cherrygrove, there are many trainers. Most of them tend to flock to Goldenrod, though, since it's one of the biggest cities.

[Being on the road, especially with such a lively group, was exhausting. Plus, out of her whole travel group, she was the only female. So she had decided to look through the gear and she comes across this elegant looking woman.]

I think I would like to visit Goldenrod, I'd love to see what the bigger cities look like.

I caught a Pidgey 'round there, as well. It's been doing pretty well so far.

Yeah, I think so too! Some of these Pokémon are kinda weird-looking, but Pidgey's pretty normal. [ ... ] And cute, too, I guess. Pretty easy to train, too.

I was looking through my Pokedex, there is one called Onix? He looks kind of scary, I'm not sure I want to meet him.
