So I'm at home for break, watching Black Beauty on Animal Planet. It's hideously cheesy, and there have been about 17 different horses playing the part of Beauty BUT:

Me: *watching movie, blah blah*
Movie: *market scene*
Me: . . . Is that David Thewlis?
Movie: *David Thewlis*
Me: LOL.

Yes, Thewlis plays Jerry Barker in the 1994 edition of Black Beauty.

I was almost sure that Pettigrew sings, too. I'll watch specifically for it next time.

Yes, Pettigrew played Pettigrew, but the level of repulsiveness fits better in Sweeney than in PoA.

I thought that at first, especially during the first scene with Anthony, and I was Not Pleased. However, for me, Snape and the Judge were very different characters as long as Anthony wasn't around. But there is too much 'Anthony is to the Judge as Harry is to Snape.'

He was very Snape-esque the whole movie, to a level I haven't noticed in his other movies. While you're right about the Antony/Harry comparison, I think for me is just exacerbated the Snape-ness of his character, rather than creating it. I dunno though. It was a good movie, but I'm not sure if it's my type. :P
