Whew! The second half of 2009 seemed to go quickly! How is everyone - feeling plotty??
That's right, plot_wout_porn is BACK! How does the long weekend of August 13 - 20 sound?
I'm intending to run this like last year, so this is the (non-binding, for self-commitment's sake) Sign Up Post. If you'd like to sign up, please comment with the following:

A quick review of the rules is under the cut:
An extra piece of clarification, because it always bears repeating: fics can absolutely have sex in them - it's an exact analogy to plot in porn-without-plots PWPs, where all plot elements serve to bring on the sex; it's just the other way round. If something happens because of your seXXors, it's fine. :)
And please mention it on your journals so other people can come and play! We have shiny banners. (Thanks again, maharet83!)

A quick review of the rules is under the cut:
- Fics must have some sort of plot; that's the point of this ficathon. Events must progress from beginning to end. To describe one of my own fics, a character walking into a room and catalysing a complicated reunion is not a plot. We want external action, people, not just internal.
- Any sex must be necessary to the plot and go beyond titillation/incentive for readers to keep reading. If it needs to be NC-17 it can be NC-17, but label it!!
- All fandoms and 'ships are welcome, as are crossovers. Bashing is really not appropriate in this context, though I'm never one to say no to good-natured, gentle ribbing.
- Completed fics must be at least 2,000 words long and WIPs must have at least 8,000 words posted to the community over the posting period.
- All content must be new when posted to the community (additional chapters to existing WIPs are fine, as long as the WIP as a whole abides by the other rules).
- All stories must be posted between 13th-20th August 2010 (inclusive) behind an LJ Cut with the following labels:
- Title
- Author
- Prompt (if any)
- Fandom
- Pairing (if any)/Characters
- Rating
