[Bellows:] Tell Eowyn, she'll want to help the elfling! Then go and get Radagast!

I'm really wondering how you're going to solve this!

Aha... the solution begins to become clearer in the next chapter - I'll post it tomorrow!

Coming back to your comment about telling Éowyn - dawtheminstrel was saying that one of her stories in her pre-Ring War Mirkwood series was written using the challenge from her beta to do it without any 'baddies' - no orcs, wargs or anything else. This is really what I am doing here - there is no protagonist - so there is the underlying thread of 'Whatever we do we mustn't tell Éowyn' to add a slight tension...

I'm not sure those are the right words, exactly, but I'm sure you'll understand what I mean!

To be honest, I think you've got us so worried about the elfling, you didn't need any extra tension!

[Of course, I see the name Eowyn and I think, "She would be straight in there, saving that little boy."

But I do think that your Eowyn's misconceptions about elves and Lothlorien were actually quite rational, given the information she had to work with, and she has shown herself to be capable of learning, and of changing her opinions.]

Lots of good detective work going on here. Love the "Groundhog Day" reference, especially since Rumil actually understood what it meant.

Thank you - I like to think that a bit of Dawn-ness has rubbed off on Rumil and Orophin - and Legolas, too, over the years.
