Forgive me livejournal, for I have sinned.  It has been a looooong time since my last post.  And sadly, this is all I have.

If you were going to run a game in the Mass Effect universe, what game system would you use?

Eclipse Phase if I was dealing with some of the human issues and computer stuff but more likely any of the games that are Dream Pod 9's Silhouette rules - Heavy Gear, Jovian Chronicles, or probably the best fit - CORE Command.

You can probably pick any of those up for cheap.

I initially hated the ideas of the Silhouette rules, but once I played it I REALLY liked it. :) It's quick, intuitive and FUN. :)

1st: CORE Command (it has aliens that can easily be converted to the Mass Effect alien races)
2nd: Jovian Chronicles
3rd: Eclipse Phase
4th: Heavy Gear - the tech, careers and everything are too different to make it work easily. CORE command has the same game rules, but is designed with something almost EXACTLY like the SPECTREs in mind! :)
