Doctor Who "The Eleventh Hour"

Apr 04, 2010 15:38

Doctor Who is pretty much the only thing I make a point of watching live on TV - not timeshifted at all even now we have the tech to do so (yes, we spent years without a way of recording the telly). So yesterday evening was organised around making sure we could sit down infront of the TV at 1820 to watch the new Doctor Who episode.

For some reason, I took the silence falling/cracks in the universe to be caused by the Time Lords being in time statis or whatever it's called. Not sure if I'm completely off my head but for some reason that was what I thought. I like Amy Pond's eyebrows too. Very good. 8)

I had wondered that, too - but I'm not sure they'd do it for this season right on the heels of the end of the Tenth Doctor, wouldn't it be re-treading ground they've already covered very recently?

Possibly, but it would also make a bridge between to two, and continue the storyline. Russel was big on those types of long term storylines. I'm not sure if Stephen Moffat is as much. I guess we'll just have to wait and see! 8)

Oh, I think I misunderstood you - in that I thought you meant another "return of the Time Lords" story, but I do think it'd make sense as fallout from the return of the Time Lords that we've already seen.

Oh yes I think all about the cracks will be revealed later.
Amy's cute though :)
