Meet my new baby.

Jealous yet? She cuts like glass through the waves, very smooth ride. Worth every cent, seriously. Granted she'll be somewhat wasted in Chiba, but handy as hell in Hawaii. Sushi, let's take a trip to Australia to surf there, too.

Last day in Okinawa, so we're hitting the waves hard. Maybe we'll bring back omiyage-if you're not ( Read more... )

Your board's pretty damn sweet as well.

Winter waves here aren't too bad.

That's because it wasn't store bought.

Now that part I am jealous of. Though, I haven't had much chance to go surfing since I got home.

Oh, I got custom work done with this one, cost me a bundle. That's the basic, though. My camera's not working that well.

Chiba waves suck in winter, but better than the manmade beach.

This week has been awesome. I'm going to miss it. We can surf in Chiba when we're home, but it won't be the same.

Your new board is epic. Best time to buy one is in the off-season.

I'm looking forward to Hawaii.

Able to get cheaper custom work, too. Just as long as we don't touch that awful manmade beach.

Yeah. Summer needs to come now.

What man-made beach? I pretend it doesn't exist.

It does. A month of surfing in Hawaii? It'll be amazing.

I like that idea. There is no manmade beach.

I'm already plotting out where the best waves are.
