Stop and smell the roses

I stopped and smelled the roses yesterday. Returning to my room after my Calc III class, I passed by the rose garden at the corner of Joyner. They're in full bloom, so I decided to stop and smell one. It smelled wonderful! Not like those flower shop kinds... They smell like a flower shop, very blah. I know Dr. Davis is not the most humorous person in the world... But it takes a little of time. You just have to let him know you care. I used to make him laugh so often.... But not in the middle of the class; that's not very wise since Math is supposed to be a serious business. Pick your timing with him and you'll see everything will turn out OK.

I guess you're right, but math ISN'T "serious business" to me. :T I guess I'll just have to choose my words carefully.
