Zack was as confused as everyone else about where they all were, the only difference for him was that he was good at making the best of the situation. Not only that, but Aerith was here. Somehow, that one thing made everything so much better.

It didn't take him long to find Aerith. She was unmistakable in this village of blonds, and he grinned widely when he set his eyes on her. She was as beautiful as always, especially when she was standing out in the sunlight.

"Aerith!" He called as he ran up to her with his wings rustling behind him, and his excitement clearly showing upon his face as if he were still a young child.

Aerith turned at the sound of his voice, so familiar to her. her face lighting up with uncontrollable joy, she opened her arms to embrace him. "Zack!" she said. Knowing he was here, no matter how crazy things got, just having him by her side...Aerith knew it would all be alright. Her wings rustled and rested against her back, she still wasn't quite used to them yet.

Zack was quick to accept the embrace, and for a moment, he even lifted her off of the ground in all his joy. Being able to embrace Aerith again was like a dream, and it just felt so natural to him. He brushed his hand through her hair, pushing it back a little so he could see her face better. His grin brightened.

"It's been a while. Miss me?"

Aerith laughed and instinctively gripped Zack tighter as he lifted her up. She blushed as he ran his hand through her hair, and closed her eyes for a moment. "Miss you? Now why would I do that?" she asked teasingly. Reaching up, she placed a hand on his cheek and just held it there, smiling. "The sky matches your eyes," Aerith said, almost as if bringing up the memory of when they first met...when she told him that if the sky matched his eyes, then she wouldn't mind looking at it.
