it's been a long time coming

I am so happy to be in DC right now. Last night was absolutely incredible. When we got the news that Obama surpassed 270 electoral votes, we all ran out into Kogan Plaza. The local news stations had camera guys out there in minutes. When the crowd got big enough we all walked down to the White House. On the way, security guys in the office

i`m glad he got elected, but then again, i don`t live in the states, so for me it won`t be much of a change.

his speech ♥ it was the best speech i`ve ever heard. it was very moving.

i got teary reading this. it makes me so happy. that day is going to go down in history. it will be in history textbooks in a few years time and we will be able to look back and say "i remember what i was doing the day that happened. i was part of it."
