Following the odd event of Ford's party, Grissom wanted to cheer Giselle up. They hadn't managed to get in much in the way of proper dancing, so he decided to set up an impromptu dance for her.
The CD in his room wasn't the one he needed, so he had run down to the Tahoe to get the other CD - the one that was in the player - but as soon as he had the CD in hand, and turned after closing the driver's side door, Grissom actually thought someone was playing a trick on him.
There, parked right next to his Tahoe, was a big-ass... spaceship.
