Grissom smiled at Giselle when she opened the door. Her bright smile was definitely infectious.
He stayed in the hall, of course, because he knew that he should have some manners when it came to Giselle's honor. Granted, he'd been in her room before, but those were extenuating circumstances.
"Good morning. That one's new," he continued, nodding to her red dress.
Grissom actually glanced down at her compliment, to see what he was wearing. However, he also knew that he was wearing the same outfit he'd been wearing every day, save one ugly Hawaiian shirt and the t-shirt he was wearing to bed.
He still hadn't managed to find the garage, or his Tahoe. Or his overnight bag, which was in the trunk.
Giving Giselle a skeptical smirk, he stepped back so she could exit the room and offered his arm. "Well," he said, then paused and looked at the redhead, "I heard a rumor about a little cafe.."
It was the same cafe they'd had tea in every morning and, every morning, he acted as if they'd never seen the place before.
She smiled, "oh that's a wonderful idea!" She hadn't been outside since she arrived, and the fresh air would be lovely. "Do you think perhaps we can find your tahoe outside?"

She smiled, as they walked, at the joke he made every morning, "you do? Goodness, let's try it!"
